Welcome to Hobby Finch Ohio!  Owners are Kimberly and John Sasala of Ashtabula, Ohio.

At Hobby Finch Ohio we feel we are selling a service as opposed to a product.  The fastidious care provided to our breeding birds leads to healthy offspring, then the extensive care provided to those offspring turns them into robust beautiful birds; that is what gives Hobby Finch Ohio birds their value.

We are current NFSS members and our chicks are NFSS closed banded.  For years we have been the proud 'parents' of a large colony aviary of beautiful Lady Gouldian Finches.  We are at the point where our hobby has given us a surplus of beautiful birds, so we're selling our good fortune to great people who love the birds as much as we do.  

The Brookpark Ohio bird fair on July 25^th was a scorcher! Literally! It was hot enough that our birds were open-mouthed panting.  We were so happy to catch up with some customers and vendors, all of which we consider our friends.  We noticed this particular venue was geared a little more towards larger breed birds, but we still managed to sell all but 2 finches – not bad at all! 

 

We have many 2010 banded finches still getting their colors.  We’ll have a lot to offer at the next fair.  We would like to attend the September 26^th fair in Medina, but due to conflicting work schedules it will most likely not be possible.  The next one we can make is October 3^rd in Youngstown.  Once we figure out which one we’ll be at for sure, we’ll be sure to put it on the website!
